As in past years, the Oldwick Fire Company will be on James Street, serving hot dogs on Halloween. James Street will again be closed to traffic, for the safety of our trick or treaters.

Friday Night, October 13, the Oldwick Fire Company will be open to Tewksbury. Come see our trucks, gear and meet the firefighters, your neighbors! The grille will be open

Members of the Boy Scout Troop 199, American Legion Post 284 and the Oldwick Fire Company, conduct a flag retirement ceremony on June 17, 2017, at the American Legion Post in Readington. Gene Buterbaugh, a US Navy veteran, represented the Oldwick Fire Company

Save the date – Saturday January 21st 2017. Bonfire in the field next to the Oldwick Fire Company. Please drop off your tree in the field behind the fire house between now and then. Hot chocolate and goodies will be served.

Members of the Boy Scout Troop 199, American Legion Post 284 and the Oldwick Fire Company, conduct a flag retirement ceremony on June 11, 2016, at the American Legion Post in Readington. Approximately 1000 flags, big and small were properly retired

A good time was had by all at the February 22, 2016 pancake breakfast hosted jointly by the Oldwick Fire Company and Oldwick Boy Scout Troop 199. Good weather prevailed that day and turnout was the largest in recent memory.

Thanks to all who placed last years Christmas trees on the pile in the field next to the firehouse. A good time was had by the many who attended to share in the nights activities On January 30. The bon fire was postponed one week due to the 30 inches of snow enjoyed by Oldwick on the original date of January 23rd.

 

On Saturday, October 30, members of the Oldwick Fire Company served hot dogs, hot chocolate and cider to trick or treaters in front of the old fire house on James Street. The fire company, with township approval, closed off sections of Oldwick to motor vehicle traffic for trick or treater safety. Current trustee, Dan Todd and past chief Jeff Hayes, man the grill.
