Many thanks to the NJ State American Fire Fighter grant system, aka SAGE. This award allowed the Oldwick Fire Company to purchase a much needed Self Contained Breathing Apparatus [SCBA] fill station. This replaced the 1990s equipment which was pressure limited and not to current standards. It is located in the engine bay and is available to both the Oldwick Fire Company and mutual aid partners.

On November 9, 2024, Oldwick Fire Company responded to a brush fire northwest of the town center. Also responding were Pottersville Fire Company and NJ State Forest Fire. Several acres along with a barn and tractor were burned. Due to heavy brush, the Forest Fire service utilized a small earthmover. A rekindle response occurred later in the day. Featured above are Forest Fire response, Oldwick brush and tender and Pottersville tender.

The Oldwick Fire Company along with Tewksbury Township Police, participated in Halloween festivities in Oldwick. Pictured is the free hot dog station along with trick or treaters.

Fall 2024 was an especially busy brush fire season for Oldwick and all on NJ. The October drill consisted of tactics and deployment of small diameter hose with forest fire nozzles.
